I cut and pasted the rubric to help us figure out what we will need to do feel free to erase it at anytime. I use rubrics to help keep me on track as I write.(Lucy Houx) Group Presentation (100 points): As a group, choose a topic somehow related to our field that you would like to present. I will set up groups for this purpose on Blackboard. You will then prepare a virtual presentation to share with the class. To do this you will collaboratively create and then share with the class a Google Doc presentation with between 20-30 slides. When completed you will post on the discussion board your URL to the presentation as well as discuss and answer any questions. http://docs.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?hl=en&topic=15116
Please cite sources as necessary. These group presentations allow you the experience of creating such products at a distance, presenting such products at a distance, as well as the content itself. Post your topic on the course wiki so that other groups do not duplicate. (Standards: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4)
After completing your group presentation you will each privately submit an evaluation of your group work to the instructor via email (see next page for form).
